A pre-bonsai is a tree in training. Its main structure is already established, but it still needs several years of cultivation and shaping before reaching a more mature form.

Our pre-bonsai are often sold in nursery pots or plastic containers.

A more mature bonsai generally has a more developed trunk, finer branching, and more advanced aesthetic work.
